24th April - Coffee Morning

St Cuthberts Church Hall, 9.30 am onwards. Event to raise awareness and funds. German theme - come along to help or just to try some German Küchen (cake) with your coffee.

9th - 16th May - Invitation to Join ARDU on their Annual Holiday

An invitation has been received from ARDU,the club for the 3rd Age, Les Ulis, to join them in their holiday in Brittany (St Marguerite de Pornichet) from 9th-16th May. All inclusive from Les Ulis for €620 or €520 if you make your own way there. More details from Graham.

17th - 20th May - Visitors from Hürth

As part of a longer trip to England visiting gardens and castles of Kent, visitors from Hurth will be spending some days in Thetford. A few hosts will be needed. Contact Gerald for more information.

6th June - Summer Lunch

Riversdale, Earls Street, Thetford. More details to follow nearer the time.

1st - 5th July - Spijkenisse International Event

To include Thetford and Hürth, with officials and twinning members from each town invited. Activities around the weekend of the Tour de France. Anyone wishing to go should contact Janet.

3rd & 4th July - Les Danses du Monde event, Les Ulis

This event has been organised by a group in Les Ulis, and a band or Morris Dancers from Bury St Edmunds (including some Thetford Twinning members) will be taking part in the dancing. This is not specifically a twinning event but Twinning Association members have been invited to the weekend.

14th August - Annual Barbecue

At the Homestead, Thetford. More details nearer the time.

October - Coffee Morning

Another event to raise awareness and funds for the Twinning Association. This coffee morning will have a French theme. Date to be confirmed.

Early December

Christmas Party.
